40 Days to Personal Revolution

I mentioned this in my New Year's Resolution post... well, even better, my yoga studio is holding a 40 program along these principles. It starts on Monday, January 17. I have committed to the following:

  • six days of yoga per week, at least five at the studio
  • daily meditation practice, starting with 5 minutes twice a day, with the time increasing weekly
  • observance of dietary intake
  • personal journaling
  • weekly community meetings
  • informative workshops on nutrition
  • special event workshops with two guest teachers
I've got my babysitter lined up but hope to manage without as much as possible. I will miss one weekend as I've booked a weekend away to Cuba at the end of January :) I am really excited to go through this process with a group of people as I think it will be encouraging and keep me accountable. The outcomes are mental clarity, lightness of body and an illumination of spirit.

I'm nervous and excited at the same time :)
