Bucket List - Deep Sea Fishing!

Barely awake but on the boat!

Taking a picture of Cindy taking a picture :)

My first Cayman sunrise - on purpose.  Early mornings with AK do NOT count.

Rough life, ain't it?

My wee barracuda!  Mission accomplished!
The big catch of the day - a wahoo.  Cindy's cousins did an incredible job of reeling this in!

Sushi!

Just a few random photos...

Hanging out with Flowers / Feathers!  AK put together tht outfit and accessorized with the headband all by herself!

Ready, Steady, Go!

AK snuggling with Richard on the couch...  I'm guessing it wasn't soccer they were watching!

Finally - Christmas with AK!

All ready - Santa's come and gone - just need to collect AK from the airport now!

Beta fighting fish was hiding!

Santa came!  Look at those cheeks still red from Canada!

An orange!  AK's favorite!

Mermaid costume and mermaid ornament!
I know this post is terribly overdue but I finally sat down and got some pictures from the camera onto the computer!  It was great to collect AK from the airport and finally celebrate Christmas with her!  She was in awe that Santa had visited here as well.  She assumed that he would only be visiting her in Canada!

Santa's big gift to AK was a pet fish.  She promptly named him Flowers but has subsequently renamed him Feathers.  Who can figure out her logic?  AK does a great job of helping to feed Flowers / Feathers every morning and we do think he has fit into our family nicely!

AK also was happy to receive some Christmas ornaments.  This kid cannot get enough of Christmas ornaments and still has a few out that she likes to play with.  Perhaps by the time Easter rolls around, we'll have everything packed away!

We celebrated with our friends a week later with my annual Ukrainian Christmas Eve dinner...  did it about a week late but it was fabulous otherwise.  I completely forgot to take pictures but trust that it was a houseful of company and great food.
